So, I don’t know if I mentioned it or not, but William was nominated for a job. They asked him to put in his paperwork and he did. He got a phone call this morning. He was chosen for the job. The job is in DC. Washington DC. I don’t know what to say…
At the latest we’d have to be in Washington by December 10th. Andre won’t be done with his first semester yet.
If I decide to do my Fall semester here, I won’t be able to finish it. I’ll be about a month short on assignments. There is a work around for that I’m sure. I’d have to ask though, and it would depend on my teacher.
Those are my only real issues really. Well that and the fact that I wouldn’t be able to go back to my school in Maryland. My school is there, but driving anywhere in the DC Maryland area is a task, so driving to Silver Springs would be quite the commute. Should I finish online? I won’t get to walk At least not with the guys I started with. I was really looking forward to that.
I feel really sad about that.
William’s brother lives in that area too. He lives on the Va side, we’d be on the Maryland side. They’d kinda work together… I may not have said this before, but I don’t like that brother of his. He’s loud, he yells all the time, and his temper is worse than mines. I hate being around him. He unnerves me.
The list of Cons grow larger
A huge Pro though, William moving to a new unit, a non SF unit, would mean a look when the E8 board comes around next year. He might actually get it. I know he wants it.
I honestly didn’t think he’d get the job, but they were only looking at 6 people for it. Guess I shouldn’t be shocked that William is AWESOME at his job.
I’m rambling. A lot.
I’d love to be back East, but not really an area as congested as the Maryland/DC/Alexandria area. My Step mom lives there, I could visit. Aprill wouldn’t be that far away, not sure if that is a pro or a con LOL.
I’d be closer to some of my friends. I could drive to NC and put my foot in the property managers ass. MAJOR PRO’s.
I could take some Homeland Security “hacker” classes, MAJOR PRO! (that is if I could get back on the list)
I don’t know. William and I are supposed to discuss it this evening, but I know we are both thinking about it today.
Lots of pro’s, lots of con’s. I’ll let you know what we decide.
